Eden Education
Transforming Our Community Into a New Eden
A Holy Cross, multilingual, and ecologically rooted primary academy
in St. Felista’s Parish, Utegi, Tanzania
Starting Small
We opened Eden Academy to fifty pre-primary students age 3-5 in October 2026. In 2027, we will add 3 classrooms and 75 more students, growing each year.
Big Dreams
Our motto means “Behold, I make all things new” in Swahili. We hope to transform our community into a new Eden, beginning with our children.
Lab School
In collaboration with the University of Notre Dame, we are pioneering a multilingual, play-based, family-connected model of education that we hope will serve at Eden Academy and beyond.
A COLLABORATION
Holy Cross Catholic Education
Eden Academy is a collaboration with the Holy Cross Congregation and the University of Notre Dame.
